We had the most fabulous time…
Fantastic house where we had the most fabulous time staying with all the family, young and old rangeing from 5 months to 89 years over the Christmas period 2018. Both caretaker and owners very helpful and accommodating.
Celebrated my mums 60th here and was not disappointed
The whole weekend was a huge success and I could not have been happier with the accommodation. John, the house manager was very friendly and on hand if needed. All of our guests (all 38 of them) were very complimentary of the beautiful house and it's facilities and we all agreed that if anything the photos on the website do not do the house justice. We were lucky with the weather too and managed to make use of the pool area for a BBQ to finish our weekend off! Would definitely stay here again.

Our very large family have just stayed here for a special birthday weekend. It's beautiful here. The games room came in handy due to bad weather. There is Sky TV, boxed games, many books and table football. There is also a table tennis table in the boot room. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the bed was too comfy to get out of in the mornings! All 9 bedrooms have ensuites. The kitchen was huge and luxurious and had a utility room almost as big! The only thing missing was some roasting tins but we managed without them but they would have been handy. I had a look in the summerhouse and it was fully equipped with bbq's, loungers and parasols. Will have to return in the sumner to make use of them!
The most amazing place to celebrate a special occasion or just a get together
The whole house caters for every need you could possibly think of and more. 40 of us spent the weekend there and it was brilliant,. Everyone enjoyed the pool, tennis courts, table tennis, table football......the little kids and the big kids took advantage of it all. It is such a beautiful, luxurious and stunning house that we really didn't want to leave and am just looking to book again next summer. This is a must for any get together and worth every penny. We were a group of 21 and stayed for a week in September 2015. Spacious accommodation with quality fittings and excellent communal areas for a large group. Everything is expertly managed down to the arrival briefing. Most in the group have travelled extensively and gave it a 10 out of 10 rating. If you decide to book a stay, you will not be disappointed.
Perfect week, perfect wedding!
We just wanted to say a few words on how wonderful our stay at The Oast was. We had the pleasure of staying for 5 days at the end of March for our wedding and we could not have picked a more perfect venue. The Oast is a beautiful venue and there is so much to do at the location that we often stayed at the venue all day.
James, John and Jane were all so helpful and welcoming and we could not have asked for more if we had all the wishes in the world, thank you for making our wedding just perfect, we can't wait to have another family get together so we can come back.

Wonderful 50th birthday weekend
We have just returned from a wonderful joint 50 birthday celebration at Finchcocks.
The house met all of our expectations and more. Could not fault anything.
On the Saturday the Men played Golf at Lamberhurst whilst the Women shopped at Village Life in Goudhurst .
We are already planning our return.

Amazing place to get together
I booked this as a surprise for my Husbands 30th Birthday to get friends and family under the same roof.
The main living space is perfect for a big group to be together but you can still find a little quiet spot for some down time and relaxation. The kitchen is amazing with the beautiful original features. The bedrooms are huge as well as being clean and comfortable.
There is plenty to do either at the property or in the local area to suit all ages. There is a fantastic pub at the end of the road called The Green Cross Inn...beautiful food and very friendly service.
I would most definitely recommend this to friends and family. I didn't want to leave!
Best Weekend Ever!!!!
We have just returned from an amazing weekend at Finchcocks. 20 of us stayed for my 40th Birthday and it was perfect. The location is stunning, and the house it truly out of this world. Beautiful bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms, everything is spotlessly clean and the main living area is just right for a party and lots of dancing!!! The sun shone for us, so we were able to sit out on the lovely decking area.
I have already recommended to other friends and can't wait to come back.
